Steps
Insert Guitar Amp Pro
On an audio track containing a dry guitar recording, open an Audio FX slot in the Channel Strip. Navigate to 'Amps and Pedals > Amp Designer' to insert the plugin. Guitar Amp Pro opens automatically when you select an Amp Designer preset.
Choose an Amp and Cabinet
Within Guitar Amp Pro, select from a wide range of virtual amp heads and cabinet models. Experiment with combinations by clicking on the amp and cabinet icons to find the tone that suits your style, from clean to high-gain.
Add Effects Pedals
Access the 'Pedalboard' section within Guitar Amp Pro to add virtual stompbox effects. Drag and drop distortion, modulation, delay, and wah pedals into the signal chain, just like real-world pedals, and adjust their parameters.
Adjust Mic and EQ Settings
Fine-tune your sound by adjusting the microphone type and placement in the 'Cabinet' section for subtle tonal variations. Utilize the amp's built-in EQ controls (Bass, Mid, Treble, Presence) to further shape the frequency response of your guitar tone.
