Steps

  1. Insert Multimeter

On your master output track or any individual track in the Mixer or Smart Controls, select an empty Audio FX slot. Navigate to 'Metering > Multimeter'.

  2. Analyze Audio Levels

The Multimeter displays various metering options, including a large configurable level meter. Pay close attention to the peak and RMS values to ensure your levels are healthy and not clipping.

  3. Check Phase and Correlation

Use the Correlation Meter (often displayed as a phase scope or correlation bar) to identify phase issues between the left and right channels, especially on the master output. A value near +1 indicates in-phase, while -1 indicates out-of-phase audio.

  4. Monitor Frequency Content

The integrated Spectrogram or Frequency Analyzer allows you to visualize the frequency distribution of your audio. This helps in identifying resonant frequencies or areas that are too dominant or lacking.
