How to use Enveloper

Shape your audio dynamics with precision using the Enveloper plugin in Logic Pro, enhancing attack and sustain.

Steps

  1. Insert Enveloper on a Track

On the audio track you wish to process, open an empty Audio FX slot in the Smart Controls or Channel Strip Inspector and select 'Dynamics > Enveloper'.

  2. Adjust Attack Parameter

Use the 'Attack' knob in the Enveloper plugin to either emphasize or soften the initial transient of your sound. Turning it clockwise enhances attack, anti-clockwise softens it.

  3. Adjust Release Parameter

Manipulate the 'Release' knob to control the decay and sustain portion of the sound. Increasing the release will lengthen the sustain, making a sound hold longer, while decreasing it shortens the sustain.

  4. Fine-tune with Gain

Use the 'Gain' knob to compensate for any level changes introduced by the attack and release adjustments, ensuring your track maintains optimal loudness.
