Steps

  1. Create a New Send on a Track

Select the track you want to send audio from in the Tracks Area. In the Channel Strip Inspector (press 'I' if not visible), locate the 'Sends' section. Click on an empty send slot and choose "Bus" > "Bus 1" (or any unused bus).

  2. Create an Auxiliary Track for the Bus

When you assign a send to a Bus for the first time, Logic Pro automatically creates a new Auxiliary track with that bus as its input. This auxiliary track will receive the audio sent from your original track.

  3. Add an Effect to the Auxiliary Track

Select the newly created Auxiliary track. In its Channel Strip Inspector, click on an empty 'Audio FX' slot and choose your desired effect, such as "Reverb" > "Space Designer" > "Stereo." This effect will now process the audio sent through the bus.

  4. Adjust Send Level and Pre/Post Fader

Go back to the original track's Sends section. The knob next to the assigned bus controls the amount of signal sent. You can also click the small light blue box next to the send name to toggle between Pre-Fader (send signal before the track fader) and Post-Fader (send signal after the track fader), which is typically used for time-based effects.
