Steps

  1. Insert Phase Vocoder

On an Audio track, click an empty Audio FX slot in the Mixer or Inspector. Navigate to 'Modulation > Phase Vocoder > Stereo' or 'Mono' to load the plugin.

  2. Load Audio into Analyzer

The Phase Vocoder requires an audio input. Play your audio track, and the plugin will analyze the incoming signal. Adjust the 'Analysis Range' and 'Quality' to optimize the analysis.

  3. Manipulate Parameters

Experiment with the 'Warp', 'Spread', 'Freeze', and 'Formant' controls to stretch, shift, and re-synthesize the audio. Use the 'Synth Speed' and 'Output Level' to shape the vocoded sound.

  4. Apply LFO and Effects

Utilize the built-in 'LFO' section to modulate various parameters dynamically, adding movement and evolving textures. Integrate the 'Reverb' and 'Delay' effects within the plugin for further sonic exploration.
