Steps

  1. Load Wave Candy into Mixer

Open the Mixer (F9) and select the desired Mixer track (e.g., Master track to analyze the entire mix). In an empty FX slot, click and select 'Wave Candy' from the effect plugin list.

  2. Select Visualization Mode

Click on the Wave Candy slot to open its interface. In the top-left corner, click the 'Mode' dropdown menu. Choose from options like 'Spectrum' (for frequency analysis), 'Oscilloscope' (for waveform view), 'Vectorscope' (for stereo imaging), or 'Peak Meter' for level monitoring.

  3. Adjust Display Settings

Depending on the selected mode, adjust parameters in the Wave Candy window. For 'Spectrum', try changing 'Bands' or 'Decay' for different resolution. For 'Vectorscope', ensure 'Stereo' is enabled to correctly visualize the stereo field.

  4. Monitor Audio in Real-time

Play your track in the Playlist (F5) or Pattern (F7) window. Observe the real-time visual feedback from Wave Candy. This helps identify frequency clashes, stereo width issues, or clipping.
