Steps
Create New Patterns
In the Pattern Selector located just above the Playlist, click the '+' button next to the current pattern number. This creates a new empty pattern, allowing you to build new melodic or rhythmic ideas independently.
Rename Patterns for Clarity
Click the current pattern number in the Pattern Selector, then choose 'Rename and color...' (F2). This helps organize your project by clearly naming sections like 'Verse Drums' or 'Chorus Melody'.
Switch Between Patterns
Use the up and down arrow keys next to the pattern number in the Pattern Selector to quickly cycle through your existing patterns. Alternatively, click the pattern name and select from the dropdown list.
Arrange Patterns in the Playlist
Drag and drop patterns from the Pattern Selector directly into the Playlist. You can also use the Paint tool (B) to paint multiple instances of a pattern or the Delete tool (D) to remove them from the Playlist.
