Steps

  1. Open Ogun in FL Studio

Add Ogun to a mixer track by navigating to 'Add > More plugins...' and selecting 'Ogun'. This will load the synthesizer interface, ready for sound design.

  2. Explore Synthesis Modes

Experiment with Ogun's synthesis modes like 'Additive', 'Pad', and 'Bell' from the main interface. Each mode provides a unique starting point for harmonic generation, dramatically altering the sound character.

  3. Adjust Harmonic Structure

Use the 'Harmonics' section to sculpt the sound. Adjust the 'Detune' and 'Bandwidth' parameters to create shimmering, complex textures, or use the 'Harmonics Editor' for precise control over individual harmonics.

  4. Modulate with Envelopes and LFOs

Automate Ogun's parameters for dynamic movement. Link parameters to the 'VOL/PAN' envelope or one of the 'LFOs' by right-clicking on a knob and selecting 'Link to controller...' to add depth and evolution over time.
