How to use Sytrus or Harmor in FL Studio?

Learn how to get started with Sytrus and Harmor synthesizers in FL Studio.

Steps

  1. Load Sytrus or Harmor

    In the Channel Rack, click the + button and choose Sytrus or Harmor from the plugin list.

  2. Browse Presets

    Click the preset selector (small arrow at the top-left of the plugin window) to browse factory presets. Each preset demonstrates a different sound design technique.

  3. Basic Sound Design in Sytrus

    Sytrus is an FM synthesizer with 6 operators. Start by selecting an operator in the OP tab, choosing a waveform, and adjusting the envelope to shape the sound.

  4. Basic Sound Design in Harmor

    Harmor is an additive/subtractive synthesizer. Use the IMG tab to import an image or audio file as a sound source. Adjust the Timbre and Pluck knobs to shape the character of the sound.
