Steps

  1. Add 3xOsc to Channel Rack

Open the Channel Rack (F6) and click the '+' button to add a new instrument. Select '3xOsc' from the generator plugin list to load it into a new channel.

  2. Adjust Waveform and Pitch

Click on the 3xOsc channel button in the Channel Rack to open its plugin window. For each of the three oscillators, select a waveform like 'Sine', 'Triangle', 'Saw', or 'Square' by clicking the waveform icon. Adjust the 'Coarse' (octave) and 'Fine' (semitone) tuning knobs for each oscillator to create harmonies or detuning effects.

  3. Modulate with Envelopes

On the 3xOsc plugin window, navigate to the 'ADSR' section. Adjust the 'Attack', 'Decay', 'Sustain', and 'Release' knobs to shape the sound's amplitude over time. Experiment with short attacks for percussive sounds or long releases for pads.

  4. Route to Mixer and Add Effects

In the 3xOsc plugin window, locate the 'FX' knob at the bottom right and assign it to an available Mixer track. Open the Mixer (F9) and add effects like reverb or delay to the assigned track to further enhance the 3xOsc's sound.
