Steps

  1. Open Mixer View

In FL Studio, press 'F9' to open the Mixer window. Snapshots are primarily used for saving and recalling different states of your mixer's faders, pan, and effect settings.

  2. Save a Mixer Snapshot

Configure your mixer faders, pan, and effects as desired for a specific mix section. Click the 'Snapshot' button (camera icon) in the Mixer's upper-left corner and then select an empty slot (1-10) to save the current state.

  3. Recall a Mixer Snapshot

To recall a saved snapshot, simply click the 'Snapshot' button again and then click the corresponding numbered slot (1-10) where you saved it. This instantly reverts the mixer to that saved state.

  4. Automate Snapshots

Right-click the 'Snapshot' button and select 'Create automation clip' for 'Snapshot slot'. An automation clip will appear in the Playlist, allowing you to programmatically switch between different mixer snapshots throughout your song.
