Steps

  1. Open a Plugin Wrapper

Add an instrument or effect to the Channel Rack that you wish to 'ghost'. Right-click the title bar of the plugin wrapper window to access its options.

  2. Select 'Ghost' Option

From the right-click menu, locate and select the 'Ghost' option. This action will effectively mute the plugin's output while keeping its parameters loaded and available.

  3. Utilize Ghost Channel

The ghost channel now serves as a placeholder or template. You can quickly duplicate it ('Clone' from the Channel Rack right-click menu) to create new instances of the plugin with the same settings, saving time during sound design.
