How to clone channels

Streamline your workflow in FL Studio by learning how to quickly clone channels. Duplicate instruments or samples for efficient sound design.

Steps

  1. Select the Channel to Clone

    Open the Channel Rack (F6) and locate the channel you wish to duplicate. Right-click on the channel's name button.

  2. Execute the Clone Command

    From the right-click context menu, select 'Clone' under the 'Insert' section. This will create an exact copy of the selected channel directly below it in the Channel Rack, including all its settings and plugins.

  3. Rename and Modify the Cloned Channel

    Double-click on the newly cloned channel's name in the Channel Rack to open its' Channel Settings. Rename it to differentiate it from the original and adjust parameters like pitch, volume, or add different effects to the cloned channel.
