How to import audio in FL Studio?

Learn how to bring audio files into FL Studio.

Steps

  1. Drag and Drop

    Drag an audio file (WAV, MP3, AIFF, OGG) from your file explorer directly into the Playlist. FL Studio creates an audio clip track automatically.

  2. Import from the Browser

    Use the Browser panel on the left to navigate to your audio file. Drag it into the Channel Rack to create a sampler channel, or into the Playlist as an audio clip.

  3. Load into a Sampler Channel

    In the Channel Rack, add a new Sampler channel. Click the folder icon in the channel settings to browse for and load your audio file.
