How to add samples in FL Studio?

Learn how to load audio samples into FL Studio.

Steps

  1. Drag from the Browser

    Open the Browser panel (press F8 if hidden). Navigate to your sample folder and drag the sample directly into the Channel Rack or Playlist.

  2. Load into a Sampler Channel

    In the Channel Rack, click the + button and choose Audio clip or Sampler. Then click the folder icon in the channel settings to browse for your sample file.

  3. Add Custom Sample Folders

    In the Browser, right-click on any folder and choose Add folder. Navigate to your sample library and add it so your samples appear in the Browser.
