Steps
Define Loop Region in Arrangement View
In Ableton Live's Arrangement View, select the desired portion of audio or MIDI you wish to export as a loop. Click and drag the loop brace (the gray bar at the top of the timeline) to define the start and end points of your loop.
Open Export Audio/Video Dialog
Go to 'File' in the menu bar and select 'Export Audio/Video...' (or use the shortcut Ctrl+Shift+R / Cmd+Shift+R). This will open the export settings dialog box.
Configure Export Settings for Loops
In the 'Export Audio/Video' dialog: ensure 'Rendered Track' is set to 'Master'. Crucially, verify 'Render Start' and 'Render Length' match your loop selection. Choose your desired 'Sample Rate' and 'File Type' (e.g., WAV, AIFF, FLAC) and disable 'Normalize' for consistent loop levels.
Export the Loop
Click 'Export' and choose a destination folder for your exported loop file. Once rendered, your perfect loop will be saved and ready for use in other projects or samplers.
