How to add a channel in FL Studio?

Learn how to add new instrument channels to the Channel Rack in FL Studio.

Steps

  1. Add from the Channel Rack

    Click the + button at the bottom of the Channel Rack. Browse the list of available instruments and generators, then click one to add it.

  2. Add from the Browser

    Open the Browser panel on the left (press F8 if hidden). Navigate to Plugin database > Generators, then drag a plugin into the Channel Rack.

  3. Add a Sampler Channel

    Right-click in the Channel Rack and choose Insert > Sampler. You can then load any audio sample into the new sampler channel.
