Steps

  1. Enable Flex Pitch on an Audio Track

Select the vocal audio track in the Tracks Area. In the Track Inspector, locate the 'Flex' button and click it to enable Flex editing. Then, click the 'Flex Pitch' icon (the wavy line with a dot) from the Flex Mode drop-down menu.

  2. Adjust Pitch with Flex Pitch

Double-click the audio region to open the Audio File Editor. In the Audio File Editor, you will see individual notes displayed as editable boxes. Drag the center of a note box up or down to correct its pitch, or use the 'Pitch Correction' slider in the Inspector to quantize notes to the closest semitone.

  3. Refine Vibrato and Drift

Within the Audio File Editor, hover over the edges of a note box. Drag the top-left corner to adjust vibrato intensity and the bottom-left corner to correct pitch drift within a single note, ensuring natural-sounding corrections.

  4. Use Pitch Correction Plugin for Real-time Tuning

For gentle, real-time pitch correction, insert the 'Pitch Correction' plugin onto your vocal track (Audio FX > Pitch > Pitch Correction). Set the 'Key' and 'Scale' of your song, and adjust the 'Response' and 'Correction' sliders to achieve the desired tuning effect.
