Recording & Audio · beginner level

Steps

  1. Open Audio Preferences

Go to Logic Pro > Settings > Audio... (or Command+, then Audio tab).

  2. Navigate to Devices Tab

Click the Devices tab in Audio preferences.

  3. Adjust I/O Buffer Size

Select a larger buffer size (512, 1024, or 2048 samples) from the I/O Buffer Size dropdown. Larger = less CPU strain but more latency.
