Steps

  1. Select Regions to Bounce

In the Logic Pro Tracks Area, select the audio or MIDI regions you wish to bounce. You can select single regions, multiple continuous regions on one track, or regions across different tracks.

  2. Initiate Bounce In Place

Right-click (Control-click) on the selected region(s) and choose 'Bounce and Join > Bounce in Place'. Alternatively, go to 'File > Bounce > Regions in Place' or use the key command 'Control + Cmd + B'.

  3. Configure Bounce Settings

A 'Bounce in Place' dialog box will appear. Here, you can choose parameters such as 'Include Audio Tail', 'Include Volume/Pan Automation', 'Normalize', and 'Bypass Effect Plug-ins'. For MIDI, you can also convert to an audio file and specify 'Destination Track' options like 'New Track' or 'Replace Track'. Make your selections and click 'OK'.

  4. Review Bounced Audio

Logic Pro will render the selected regions into new audio file(s) on a new track (or replacing the original track, depending on your settings). The new audio region will reflect all the processing, automation, and effects that were active on the original track, effectively 'baking in' those changes.
