Steps
Open the Audio Clip in Detail View
Double-click an audio clip in the Arrangement or Session view to open it in the Clip Detail View at the bottom of the screen.
Enable Warp Mode
In the Sample box, make sure the 'Warp' button is activated (yellow). This tells Ableton to time-stretch the clip to match your project tempo.
Choose a Warp Mode
Select the appropriate warp mode from the dropdown: Beats for drums, Tones for melodic content, Texture for ambient sounds, Re-Pitch for vinyl-style stretching, or Complex/Complex Pro for full mixes.
Set Warp Markers
Right-click on transients in the waveform and select 'Set Warp Marker'. Drag these markers left or right to align the audio with the grid, correcting timing issues.
Verify the Result
Press play and listen to the warped clip in context with your project. Adjust warp markers or switch warp modes if artifacts are audible.
