Steps

  1. Create an Audio Effect Rack

Select one or more effects on a track, right-click and choose Group to Audio Effect Rack. Alternatively, drag Audio Effect Rack from the Browser (Audio Effects > Audio Effect Rack) onto a track.

  2. Add Parallel Chains

Click the Show/Hide Chain List button on the rack. Click below existing chains and choose Create Chain to add parallel signal paths. Each chain processes audio independently and the outputs are summed.

  3. Assign Macro Controls

Click the Show/Hide Macro Controls button to reveal 8 macro knobs. Right-click any parameter on a device inside the rack and choose Map to Macro 1 (or 2, 3, etc.). Now one macro knob controls multiple parameters.

  4. Set Macro Ranges

After mapping, click the Map button on the rack to see all mappings. Adjust the Min and Max values to define how each macro knob affects its mapped parameters.

  5. Save as a Preset

Once your rack is set up, click the save icon on the rack title bar to save it as a preset in your User Library. You can reuse it across projects.
