Steps

  1. Load Multiband Dynamics

Drag Multiband Dynamics from Audio Effects onto your track or master bus.

  2. Set crossover frequencies

Adjust the crossover points in the display to define the Low, Mid, and High frequency bands. Click and drag the vertical dividers.

  3. Configure compression per band

Click on each band (Low, Mid, High) and adjust the Above threshold and ratio to compress each frequency range independently.

  4. Use upward compression

Adjust the Below threshold and ratio to bring up quiet sounds in each band. This is great for adding body and presence.

  5. Set output levels

Adjust the Output gain for each band to balance the levels after processing. Use the global Amount knob to blend wet/dry.
