Steps

  1. Use the Pan Knob

Each track has a Pan knob in the mixer section. Click and drag it left or right to position the track in the stereo field. Double-click the knob to reset it to center.

  2. Pan in the Mixer View

In Session View, the pan knob is visible in each track strip. In Arrangement View, click the small arrow to expand the track and see the pan control, or open the Mixer section at the bottom.

  3. Split Stereo Pan Mode

Right-click the pan knob and choose Split Stereo Pan Mode. This gives you two independent pan knobs: one for the left channel and one for the right channel, useful for stereo recordings.

  4. Automate Panning

In Arrangement View, select Mixer > Track Panning in the automation lane to draw panning changes over time for creative stereo movement effects.
