The Plugin Gallery: sharing and adding plug-ins

Share your own Plugin Studio creations with the community or add member-created plug-ins to My Plugins.

Plugin Studio: Designing your own plug-ins, exporting to your DAW or as a standalone Mac plug-in, and the Plugin Gallery.

Steps

  1. Open the Plugin Gallery at music-prod.com/plugin-studio/gallery, from the Plugins menu, or from the column inside Plugin Studio. It lists plug-ins members chose to share.
  2. To add a plug-in from the gallery (Music-Prod+ members), click "Add to My Plugins". The copy opens in Plugin Studio and is used with Export to DAW.
  3. To share a plug-in you created, tick "Make this plugin public?" when you export it with Export to DAW or Export as plugin (it is off by default).
  4. Optionally tick "Show my name" (off by default; otherwise your plug-in is shown as by "Music-Prod member").
  5. Music-Prod reviews every plug-in before it is listed. The export dialog shows "Waiting for review" or "Public", and an Unpublish button: you can unpublish at any time.

Troubleshooting

A plug-in added from the Plugin Gallery can't be changed or exported as a plug-in

Only the creator can change a gallery plug-in, export it as a standalone plug-in, or sell it. Your copy can't be refined or exported as a plug-in; use it with Export to DAW.

Changed a shared plug-in and shared it again

A changed design that is shared again goes back to review.

Signed out: can't share or add gallery plug-ins

Sharing in the Plugin Gallery and adding gallery plug-ins need Music-Prod+.
