Getting mixing help from CoProducer

Steps

1. Open CoProducer in Music-Prod Studio 2.0.74+ or on music-prod.com/coproducer, signed in with Music-Prod+. Feedback works best in Chat (Creative uses a clip as a style reference for new music).
2. Let CoProducer listen. In Chat, share a clip of up to 30 seconds: for example the vocal with the beat, the vocal alone, or a microphone take. In Work in DAW, turn on Listen to my DAW, play the part, and click "Use the last N s".
3. Ask what to fix, for example "The vocal sounds harsh and sits on top of the beat. What should I change?" CoProducer gives concrete feedback and settings: EQ, compression, de-essing, reverb and delay, and the vocal's level against the beat.
4. By default, CoProducer works from the measurements made on your computer. For a real listen, type what to listen for, then use "Let CoProducer listen in detail": after asking you, it sends the clip to Google's AI, for a few extra credits. Every message uses at least 1 credit; the analysis on your computer is free.
5. Work in DAW (in Music-Prod Studio) can apply simple steps for you in Logic Pro, Ableton Live, FL Studio, or GarageBand: for example, put an EQ or a compressor on the vocal track and set its values. Start with one track, listen to the result before going on, and press Esc at any time to stop CoProducer.

Troubleshooting

Can CoProducer tune vocals, align doubles, or comp takes automatically?

Not yet. CoProducer can't do pitch correction or tuning for you, align doubled vocals, or comp the best takes automatically, but it can explain how to do these in your DAW.

Using a Music-Prod Studio version older than 2.0.74

Chat still answers mixing questions in words. To share audio, update Studio (Settings ▸ Updates ▸ Check Now).
