Image-Line has dropped a massive update for FL Studio in 2026, bringing a completely reworked playlist, new AI-assisted mixing tools, and native Apple Silicon support that's been years in the making.
The biggest change is the new "Flow Mode" — a linear arrangement view that brings FL Studio closer to traditional DAW workflows while maintaining the unique pattern-based approach FL producers love. You can now seamlessly switch between pattern and linear views mid-session.
AI Smart Mix
The AI Smart Mix feature analyzes your mix and suggests gain staging, panning, and basic EQ adjustments. It learns from your mixing style over time, making increasingly personalized recommendations. While it won't replace a professional mix engineer, it's a fantastic starting point for beginners.
Other notable additions include a revamped piano roll with chord detection, MPE support across all native plugins, and a new collaboration feature that lets multiple producers work on the same project in real-time.
The update is free for all FL Studio users, continuing Image-Line's legendary lifetime free updates policy.
